As we made our dash for the channel earlier this week the snow had already begun to fall, little did we know how long this cold snap would last. 2 days later this is what the country looked like viewed from NASAs orbitting satellite. Conditions are supposed to hold for the next 9 days and with the UK plummeted into its mini ice age my fingers are crossed for a nation that normally grinds to a standstill over 2cm of the white stuff.
Fellow Blogger..us Southern faires rarely get snow...although I am pretty sure the South is much more white in colour! I love this image of the UK!
